Cookie Policy
Effective May 22, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how BanaKin Photos uses cookies and similar technologies on banakinphotos.com. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device. Cookies are widely used to make websites work, to remember preferences, and to provide reporting. Some cookies are set by us (first-party) and some are set by third-party services we use (third-party).
2. What we use
We group cookies into three categories:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to function: keeping you signed in, protecting against CSRF, remembering session state.
- Functional — remember choices you make (such as the booking flow state) to improve your experience.
- Anti-fraud / security — Google reCAPTCHA cookies that help us detect automated abuse of our contact and booking forms.
We do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not currently run a separate web analytics service.
3. Specific cookies
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Supabase | Keeps you signed in to your client portal. | Session / up to 7 days |
_GRECAPTCHA | Google reCAPTCHA | Distinguishes humans from bots on our forms. | 6 months |
| Stripe cookies | Stripe | Fraud detection during checkout. | Varies |
4. Managing cookies
- Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may prevent the site or client portal from working.
- You can opt out of Google reCAPTCHA by avoiding the contact and booking forms; we do not load reCAPTCHA on pages without forms.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where applicable.
5. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies. The “Effective” date above will be updated and material changes will be highlighted on the site.
